Join us in making a difference

Jacob's Mission Community Center exists to create opportunities for belonging, connection, healing, and growth for children, youth, young adults, and families impacted by foster care and other life challenges.
We recognize that many individuals who have experienced foster care face frequent moves, changing schools, disrupted relationships, and a lack of consistent support. While placements, circumstances, and systems may change, our community center remains a constant—a place where people can return, reconnect, build lasting relationships, and experience a sense of belonging.
Through free, trauma-informed programs, mentorship, educational support, life skills development, recreation, community engagement, transition-to-adulthood services, and essential resources, we empower individuals to build confidence, strengthen meaningful connections, and reach their full potential.
We believe that healing happens in relationships, that everyone deserves a place where they are known and valued, and that no one should have to navigate life's challenges alone. Our goal is to foster a lifelong community where children, youth, young adults, and adults with lived experience in foster care can find support, opportunity, connection, and hope.
We envision a community where every child, youth, and adult impacted by foster care has a place to belong, meaningful relationships to rely on, and opportunities to thrive.
We strive to be a lifelong community hub where individuals and families can find connection, support, healing, and hope. Our vision is that no person impacted by foster care feels alone in their journey and that every individual has access to the relationships, resources, and opportunities needed to build a successful and fulfilling future.
Belonging - We believe every person deserves to feel welcomed, valued, accepted, and connected. We create spaces where individuals can build meaningful relationships and experience a true sense of community.
Connection - Healing and growth happen through relationships. We foster opportunities for youth, families, mentors, and community members to build lasting and supportive connections.
Consistency - Many individuals impacted by foster care experience change and uncertainty. We are committed to being a stable, reliable presence and a place people can return to throughout different stages of life.
Empowerment - We help individuals recognize their strengths, develop confidence, advocate for themselves, and pursue their goals and aspirations.
Trauma-Informed Care - We recognize the impact of trauma and strive to create environments that promote safety, trust, choice, collaboration, and healing.
Community - Strong communities create stronger futures. We believe everyone has something valuable to contribute and that meaningful change happens when people come together.
Growth - We support lifelong learning, personal development, leadership, and skill-building that help individuals reach their full potential.
Hope - We believe every person deserves opportunities, encouragement, and support. We focus on possibilities, resilience, and building brighter futures.
